The Air Force Junior ROTC program at McMichael High School in Mayodan, NC
is a student run organization with the goal of instilling in its cadets the values of
citizenship, service to the country and community, personal responsibility, and a sense of accomplishment.
The motto of NC-953 is to build better citizens and future leaders, these objectives are supported and promoted by two retired
Air Force Officers who teach Aerospace Science classes to cadets and maintain supervision over the entire program.
